plants and
trees
contribute
to
tropical

the lodge
lies Misty
Mountain,
rising 500
meters
into the
sky
emphasizing
the
silence
and purity
of these
surroundings.You

the call

hundreds
of birds

the Green
Ibis,
Kingfishers,
Harpy
Eagles,
Macaw`s
Humming
birds,
Toucans,
Parrots

Kabalebo
takes 75
minutes.The
lodge has

twin-bedded
rooms with
air
conditioning,

bathroom
with hot
and cold
running
water.The

offers an

local meal

well as a

spacious

Karel
Dawson,
who first
came to
this part
of
Suriname
in 1986,
took the
initiative
to build
Kablebo
Nature
Resort.He
is also
chairman
of the
Kabalebo
Foundation.In
order to
enjoy and
maintain
nature in
its purest
form, he
decided to
build a
resort at
this
unspoiled
